The frequency of anti-theft hard tags is radio frequency 8.20mhz or acoustic magnetic 58khz. They are used with anti-theft system. The detecting distance is generally 1-1.80m. EAS system will issue an alarm if customers take the goods out of the shop without unlocking tags.

Hard tags are widely used in supermarkets, clothing stores, shopping malls etc. And can be reused for 1-2 years.
